POSITIVE CONTROL OF PRESSURE, DWELL TIME AND TEMPERATURE is maintained with convenient controls and easy-to-read dials. Uniform pressure over the entire jaw area is maintained up to 1187 lbs. for periods up to 15 seconds. High precision temperature controllers pre-set the independent top and bottom jaw sealing bar temperatures to 4000F. A selection of standard crimp jaws 8' wide with 1" face can be chosen to make vertical crimp, horizontal crimp or flat seals. Custom jaws for narrow seals, cross-hatch configuration and coding of up to 8 digits are also available. To operate the uniti simply depress the foot pedal. The automatic timer opens the sealing jaws after the pre-set time has elapsed. The operator is then free to feed another package. Quality precision seals are efficiently formed on bags, pouches, envelopes, interliners, barrier liners, etc. Laminates, cellophanes, foil, coated papers, coated foils, coated polyester, filter paper, peelable seal films and coextruded films are easily accommodated.
