Go to Page 2 WRAPADE MACHINE CO., INC., began building packaging machines in 1932, and the VSP-JR is the latest in the evolutionary chain of Wrapade Vertical Strip Packagers. Designed for packaging pharmaceutical and nutraceutical tablets, caplets and capsules, it can also be used for screws, hardware, novelty items, and many other small free flowing products. SMALL SIZE: Nicknamed "Junior", the VSP-JR is small and compact, occupying only two-thirds the floor space of our "big" vertical machine. It stands less than four feet high at the top of the main cabinet, which allows the operator to monitor and fill the product feed system while standing on the floor, and change rolls of film at a convenient height. Touch screen panel displays EASY TO OPERATE: From the outset, the goal has been simplicity. The control panel has a touch screen, making it easy to set and monitor all packaging parameters. We offer a full range of quality control sensors to monitor system performance, simplify machine validation and ensure consistently high quality packages. Package size changeover is simplified by easily removable sealing rollers and a self adjusting servo driven cutoff knife. The cutoff knife can both cross perforate and cut groups of packages in any count with the touch of a button. PRODUCT FEEDING SYSTEMS: A product feeding system can be as basic as the hand-fed disc, single row system shown in the photo. It can also be a fully automatic, hopper-fed, multi-lane system, mated to a twelve inch sealing head for very high production output. Of particular interest to packagers of nutritional supplements are our multiple-product feeding systems that can put one each of several different products into a single pouch.

Regular service is only a matter of keeping the machine clean and wiping the cutoff knife with oil. We have reduced the number of moving parts in this machine to a bare minimum, resulting in lower cost, greater reliability, low maintenance, and easy, trouble free operation. Installation at your facility is also simplified, as the machine is designed to be shipped in one piece, fully assembled. Its compact size will actually fit through a standard 36" wide doorway. Once it’s in place, simply plug it in, hook up the air supply and you’re ready to run. "Junior" is small in size, low in price, but like all Wrapade machines, big in quality.
